Artist Statement\Biography

"My watercolors are an expression of my own interpretation of the natural beauty of Northeast Wisconsin. I like to reveal the grace and loveliness of the commonplace and invite the viewer into the tranquility of quiet times."

Stacey has been painting the Door County landscape for over 30 years after earning a BFA from UW Stout. She is a juried member of the Wisconsin Wwtercolor Society and is represented by Plum Bottom Gallery. Stacey is a Door County native with deep roots to the early Scandinavian settler's of Northern Door.
